Damon has been living in the Pacific Northwest for a long time. He came from sunny California when the Navy brought him to Oregon, where he met his wife. After the Navy took them to Guam for a couple of years (where he played semi-pro baseball..!), they returned home to Oregon. Damon and his wife have been married for 24 years, raising their two children who are now 15 and 18 years old in Camus, Washington.
